Capture → choose → do → close → correct
Capture: get work out of your head when it appears.
Choose: decide which few things deserve attention today.
Do: keep the current work visible and finish it.
Close: record what moved, what drifted, and what matters next.
Correct: use the evidence from the day and week to adjust instead of blindly carrying the same plan forward.
Execute
Today is where you work
Today is the daily execution surface. Fast Capture gets new work out of your head. Your Top 3 keeps the few priorities that matter most visible. Recurring commitments stay nearby without taking over the page.
If your Top 3 has room, Start My Day can make the first cut from work you already captured. You review the recommendations before anything changes.
The full Task workspace is still there when you need lanes, filters, tags, projects, dates, or bulk changes. It is intentionally not the default thing you have to operate.
Decide
Operator helps you make the next decision
Operator sits on top of your existing Outcomes data. It can help make the first cut for the day, guide a Daily Close, help when you are off track, and walk through the weekly review.
Operator does not own a second set of priorities. Your tasks, reviews, projects, goals, recurring commitments, and execution history remain the source of truth. You approve changes before they are written.
Review
Finish the loop instead of just finishing tasks
At the end of the day, use Operator to close the day with the evidence already in Outcomes. The goal is a short, honest review—not more administration.
The weekly Operator review brings the week together so you can compare intention with execution, decide what needs to change, and set up the next week deliberately.
Manual Daily Close and manual Power Hour remain available as fallback tools. They are not the default workflow new users need to learn first.
Direction
Goals and projects give work context
Goals describe the larger outcomes you are moving toward.
Projects organize finite multi-task outcomes underneath those goals.
Tasks are the executable work that flows back into Today.
You do not need to fully organize every task before you can capture it or make progress.
Evidence
Progress shows what actually happened
Detailed Progress keeps the raw execution picture: scores, completed work, recurring consistency, Daily Close consistency, streaks, trends, and task truth.
Use Operator when you want help interpreting that evidence. Detailed Progress owns the numbers; Operator owns the guided conversation about what they mean and what to do next.
Control
Settings handles the system behind the work
Use Settings for profile information, timezone, recurring setup, weekly review day, theme, guidance preferences, account state, and maintenance tools.
Most of this should stay out of the way during a normal day.
Direct Answers
Frequently asked questions
If I only use one page, where should I start?+
Start with Today. Capture work, keep the few priorities that matter visible, and execute from there.
What is Top 3?+
It is simply the small set of tasks that matter most today. You can choose them manually or let Start My Day recommend a first cut for your approval.
What is Operator for?+
Operator helps with decisions and reviews using the work and execution evidence already stored in Outcomes. It does not replace your underlying task or review data.
Do I have to organize every task when I capture it?+
No. Fast Capture can save just the task title. Add status, dates, points, goals, or notes only when they are useful.
What happens when I complete a recurring commitment?+
It is marked complete for the applicable day, contributes a point, and becomes part of your execution evidence.
Where is Power Hour?+
The guided weekly review now lives in Operator. The original manual Power Hour remains available as a fallback.
Where can I see the raw numbers?+
Use Detailed Progress for the underlying execution metrics and trends.
What if something looks wrong?+
Check Settings for available maintenance tools or send a bug report so the underlying state can be investigated.
